Waihe e School serves a divers population of students from Paukukalo , Waiehu, Waihe e, and Kahakuloa. The school operates on a modified year-round school calendar as do all of Hawaii s public schools. Waihe e School pioneered the single track year-round school calendar in Hawaii in 1987-1988, when the school and community made the change from the traditional agrarian nine-month calendar.
